Tired of embroidering names, monograms, etc. on towels just to wash them and have the towel "loops" close in over your beautiful embroidery?  Stitch one of these cross stitch towel bases down 1st and add your design on top. Hold down most of the loops so they won't pop up around your design.

*When stitching out these towels bases, I suggest you use a layer of Water Soluble Topping under the cross stitch base and then another on top before adding a monogram, name or design.
