FSL Angel Set
About 7 years ago I lost my father after a long illness. A lot of people stepped into our lives during that time. The next year I wanted to do a little something special for them, so I stitch out a bunch of little Angel designs with a note saying how much mom and I appreciated them being our “Angels” during that time.
Since then, I have done this every year BUT it has evolved in that time to handing them out to strangers in the store that I stopped to chat with, the cashier at the store, the tired waiter or waitress at the restaurant I was eating at, the young mother struggling to shop with the littles, the elderly couple I chatted with in line at the post office. The nice guy at Walmart who put air in my tires, and so on.
This year I asked my son who is a digitizer for our home business, to create a FSL Angel small enough to keep several in my purse at a time without taking up too much room since I like to carry a small purse.
Tie a ribbon to the top, place in a small plastic bag and add a label with a sweet note to the bag.
You can fit quite a few of these in a purse or backpack so you have them with you wherever you go.
This has become my absolute favorite thing to do during the holidays so I thought some of you might love doing it too. Everyone can use a special unexpected gift this time of the year.
