A Stitch in Time Tradition
Years ago, after losing my dad, so many wonderful people became “angels” in our lives. That Christmas, Mom and I stitched little Angel ornaments to thank them — and it’s been a special tradition ever since.
Friends and family who received them over the years now have a little collection, and I love adding a new one each Christmas.
I also keep a few in my purse to share with strangers — a kind cashier, a tired waiter, a young mom, or someone I meet while out and about. Just a tiny handmade angel with a sweet note to brighten their day.
It’s truly my favorite holiday tradition, and Jonathan designs a new angel for me each year. Maybe you’ll want to start this tradition too — spreading kindness during the holiday season, one stitch at a time.
